CLINIC FAQ

A:  Each clinic is custom tailored towards and around the needs of the clinic participants.

Q:  I have never been on a snowmobile, is Next Level a good place to start?

A: No, we specialize in coaching riders in mountain riding... not trail riding. If you have not been on a snowmobile, we would recommend for you to gain some experience riding trails prior to signing up.

A: We prefer to have max 6-10 riders per clinic, accompanied by 3 instructors.

A: The best riding areas out west in the Grey's River Ranger District.

A: We are fully licenced, insured, and Forest Service permitted to hold our clinics on public lands. 
A: Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Requests will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
A: The clinics are designed to make you a more effective rider snow or shine. Weather is another element of this sport that riders need to be prepared for. Snow is a big part of the experience! However, your safety is our number one priority and instructors will evaluate the weather conditions and precautions may be taken to insure the safety of the group.
Q: Do you offer private clinics?

A: We ONLY offer private group clinics with a minimum number of 4 riders per clinic. Groups that don't have the minimum number of riders are able to book a clinic by paying for 4 riders.

Q: What do I need to pack for a NXT LVL guided ride or AVY refresher?
Q: Do you ride the same riding area all the time?
A: We have multiple/alternative access points to the Greys River District and will travel when necessary depending on weather and AVY conditions. 

SNOWMOBILE FAQ

A: Yes, we have a fleet of 2023 Polaris 850 Matryx rental sleds available for you to ride during the clinic at an additional charge $300 per/day plus tax. You can reserve one during the clinic registration process.

A: You are welcome to bring your own sled to ride during the clinic. We want you to learn and improve your skills on a sled you are comfortable riding. 
Q: Where do I get fuel?

A: There is a fuel station located just down the road from our shop at Alpine Market. You can get fuel on the way to our shop there.

Q: Where can I get a snowmobile permit?
A: There are a few locations in town of Alpine to purchase snowmobile permits. You can also buy permits online prior to your trip
Q: Can I park my trailer at your shop?

A: You are welcome to park your trailer next to our shop for the duration of the clinic. We do not, however, offer long term parking. 

Q: What elevation do we ride in? 
A: We will be riding between 6,000-9,000ft. if you are riding your own sled, please contact your local dealer to make sure your clutching is set for the elevation.

RIDING GEAR FAQ

A: Yes. Please bring your own lunch and snacks.  Boxed Lunches are available for purchase at the Flying Saddle Resort... ask at the front desk.

Q: Can I rent AVY Gear from you?
A: We do rent AVY Gear to use during and outside of our clinics. If you are attending the clinic you can reserve your AVY gear during the registration process. Click here if you just looking to rent AVY Gear.
Q: I can't fly with my AVY Bag/Canister can I ship it to your shop?

A: Yes, you can. Please include your name and the clinic you are attending. Ship it to:

TRAVEL FAQ

Q: What is the closest airport?

A: There are two airports available for you to fly into. Idaho Falls Regional Airport (IDA ) is about 1 hour and 30min from Alpine & the Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) is about 1 hour from Alpine.

Q: Is lodging provided?
A: You are responsible for your own lodging. Flying Saddle Resort is located conveniently a few min from the shop and offers discounted rates to our clinic participants. Click HERE for more lodging options.
